Bungalow and villa architects in India
A bungalow or villa is a building you live in for decades, so we design it around how you actually live: the mornings and evenings, the guests and the quiet, the children who grow up and the parents who visit.
We work with families across India and look after the project from the first sketch to site supervision.
What we pay attention to
The plot and the climate
Where the sun rises and sets, where the wind comes from, how hard the monsoon and the summer are: these shape the house before any style does. Rooms are placed so light and air move through them, and courtyards, verandahs and screens keep the heat out.
Places to gather, places to withdraw
A home needs both. Variety, choice and a quiet place to withdraw ease fatigue and stress, so we plan living rooms that bring people together and corners that let someone step away.
Nature indoors
Daylight, fresh air and views of green are known to lift mood and ease stress. Windows, gardens, courtyards and planting are planned as part of the home, not added later as decoration.
Privacy in steps
The walk from the gate to the bedroom should change gradually from public to private, so guests feel welcome and the family feels safe.
Warm, familiar materials
People trust what feels familiar. Timber, stone, brick and handmade finishes, with soft, warm light, make a house feel like home from the first day.
A home that can grow
Families change. Where the plot allows, we plan so that a room, a floor or a cottage can be added later without disturbing the rest, as the cottages at Corbett House were built as modules.
Already own a home and want to rethink its rooms? Zuiora, our home-design brand, helps with light, colour, layout and texture.
How we work
We offer full service across India: design, drawings, approvals and site supervision. See how a project runs, from brief to site.

Yes. We work across India.

Yes. Full service covers design, drawings, approvals and site supervision.
Can you work with my existing plot, trees and views?
We start with the plot. Its light, climate, trees and views decide where the house sits and which way it faces.
